Why do you use qp instead of crf? It is very likely to be a bad idea!
By the way, some settings that gave me good results were:
subq=6:8x8dct=yes:frameref=4:bframes=1:nob_adapt=yes:keyint=512:partitions=all:me=umh:me_range=15:trellis=1:direct_pred=auto
The settings above were a good compromise between speed and quality of encoding.
