[MEncoder-users] resize and cut a video

Hi,

I'm trying to resize a video by this command:

mencoder file.wmv -vf scale=320:320 -o file.mp4 -oac mp3lame -ovc xvid
-xvidencopts bitrate=200 -ofps 12

The original video is 4:3... Can I cut the boards of the video, and
make a video 1:1 (square)
