recommending a deinterlacer is like recommending a video codec. It's highly
biased and no deinterlacer in the world delivers perfect results, though some
come close to it... yadif is a fast general purpose deinterlacer which
delivers decent results. If you deal with sports, then a blending
deinterlacer like pp=lb may be preferable. yadif=1,mcdeint=0:0:10,framestep=2
can deliver excellent results but it's fairly slow.... pullup isn't a
deinterlacer, it's an inverse telecine filter
