Out of curiousity I downloaded and compiled mandvd 2.4 to try it out. I
have no problems playing the resultant DVD with mplayer (both with
dvd:// and dvdnav://). However, my version of mplayer is compiled from
SVN as of yesterday (dev-SVN-r26384-4.2.1)- YMMV.
